Things to do

Novo Sancti Petri is just a 3 minute drive or a 30 minute walk. It is a modern beachfront golfing resort which has an upmarket, cosmopolitan feel about it.

Here you will find a variety of restaurants, bars shops and supermarkets, mainly situated in the resort’s pedestrianised, courtyard setting of the commercial centre. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and comes alive in the summer evenings when shops stay open late into the night.

Coast / Beach

Also less than a 5 minute drive away is a magnificent stretch of fine white sand that is La Barrosa beach. It is renowned as one of the best beaches in Europe and fully deserves its blue flag status.

The Atlantic sea is a favourite for water sports enthusiasts and we do have a couple of body boards if you fancy catching a few of those waves yourself!

Sporting activities:

If you like to be active on holiday, Novo Sancti Petri has many sporting facilities for you to enjoy.

Tennis: The Heit Tennis Academy in Novo Sancti Petri offers tennis coaching for all levels and there are both paddle and tennis courts for hire. Tournaments are held most Saturdays.

Golf: The nearest golf course is the superb 36-hole Novo Sancti Petri course and we are just 3km from the club house. There are several other courses in the area including the 'pay and play' Cud de Golf Campano which is less than 10 minutes and has recently been extended and a brand new club house added. We have a complete set of golf clubs available for guests.

Horse riding: is available in the Resort Centre, offering various lessons or rides along the beach or in the countryside.

Go karting: A go karting track is located just a few minutes drive away and karting starts at 4pm most days. Click here for more information.

Cycling: This is a fairly flat area that lends itself well to cycling. Cycles can be hired locally in the resort or we do have the contact details of a British run company who will deliver cycles to the villa for your convenience.

Motor sports: The Circuito de Jerez is just 30 minutes drive away where F1 testing days are frequently held, offering fans an inexpensive (5 euro) opportunity to see the race cars put through their paces. The Moto GP is also held here annually which is a major event in the area.

Water sports: Of course being so close to the coast, water sports are very much a part of life on the Costa de la Luz with surfing, water-skiing, jet ski, kite surfing, sailing and paragliding all being offered on the beach and Marina of Sancti Petri. There is also a PADI Dive Centre close by.

Water park: During the high season Aqualand, a water park is open (Mid-June - September only) near Cadiz. If offers fun for all the family.
